Education for Parents
The virtual course "It's that easy" is offered to Utah parents at no cost and is designed to help parents learn how to incorporate conversations about sex and sexuality into their families. Participants will leave with a variety of tools to help them connect with their children, share their family’s values and engage in meaningful conversations about sex, sexuality, and relationships.
Can I get gonorrhea from an ice cream cone?
No. Gonorrhea can be transmitted in bodily fluids during vaginal, anal, or oral sex; any sexually active person can be infected with gonorrhea. It can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth. Both chlamydia and gonorrhea can infect the throat; however, they cannot be transmitted from one infected throat to another through sharing an ice cream cone.
